Our Principles
Public authorities and lenders rely on our advice to make decisions that affect millions of people. These principles govern how we give it.
- Independence: Our advice follows the evidence, not the interests of vendors, contractors or investors. We declare any potential conflict of interest before we accept a mandate.
- Integrity: We do not offer, pay or accept bribes or improper benefits, directly or through others, and we expect the same of our partners.
- Evidence first: Every recommendation can be traced to data, a method and a source. When the evidence is uncertain, we say so.
- Confidentiality: Client information stays confidential. We publish work only with the client's agreement, and anonymise it when asked.
- Responsible use of AI: We use AI to analyse faster and see more, never to replace professional judgement. People review every output that reaches a client, and client data is never used to train public models.
- Sustainability: We work for sectors that protect the environment, and we hold our own operations to the same standard.
